Sweet Storks and More is a stork yard sign rental company in Louisiana serving Abbeville, Broussard, Carencro, Crowley, Delcambre, Duson, Erath, Gueydan, Kaplan, Lafayette, Maurice, Milton, New Iberia, Rayne, Scott, Youngsville, and surrounding areas.

How much does a stork yard sign rental cost? How long is the rental period for?

The charge for rental of a stork yard sign for a new baby announcement is $100.00*.  The rental period is one week.  We will leave the personalized bundle at the front door when we return to pick up the sign.

How much are sibling stars/dog bones and cat signs?

$25.00 each/sibling star

$25.00 each/ cat sign* Purrrfect! Name is a big sister/brother.

$25.00 each/ dog bone* Name fetched a baby sister/brother.

The recipient keeps the star(s) / bone (s) / cat(s) at the end of the rental period. We will leave them at the front door when we return to pick up the sign.

Payment is due at the time the order is placed and it secures the rental.

We can send a PayPal invoice to you for payment. We also accept payment by Venmo.

How far in advance should I order my stork?

Stork Signs:  We do not reserve newborn signs in advance because babies arrive on their own schedule. Please contact us as soon as the baby is born, and we will go from there. We strive to install the stork within 24-hours of your order, but it is not guaranteed. Our cut-off for next day delivery is 3:00 p.m. the day before. 

***Our firm cut-off for next day delivery of any sign is 3:00 p.m. the day before. If you’d like to have the stork sign in the yard before the new parents / baby arrive home, we must have all the necessary info and payment no later than 3:00 p.m. the afternoon before they are to be discharged.  An earlier notice is always appreciated and gives you a better chance for delivery at the time you would like.***

What do you offer for the Grandparents?

If a grandparent sign is ordered at the same time as the sign for the new parents, the discounted rental price for a grandparent sign is $75.00 week. The bundle will state "It's A Grandson!"  or "It's A Granddaughter!". This bundle is NOT a keepsake. It will be picked up when we pick up the stork rental. Please note: The delivery address for the grandparent's sign must be in an area we serve.

Are stork rental signs available for baby showers, pregnancy announcements, and gender reveals?

Absolutely! We offer stork yard signs for baby showers, pregnancy announcements, and gender reveals for $50.00/one day rental.

The rental stork comes with a generic bundle and is NOT a keepsake. The bundle will be picked up with the stork rental. 

- The bundle for a baby shower will state "Welcome to the Baby Shower!" 

-The bundle for a pregnancy announcement will state "We are having a Baby!" 

-The bundle for a gender reveal will state "He or She...What will the baby be?"

**We offer personalized keepsake bundles to celebrate your special occasion for an addition fee of $25.00.**

Where will you place the rental stork yard sign?

We use our best judgment regarding sign placement to ensure optimal visibility and a pleasing backdrop for photographs. If there is a specific spot you would like for the sign to be placed, please notify us when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

May I mow or use a weed eater around the stork?  May I attach things to the stork?  May I move the stork?

Please keep all lawn equipment away from the signs.  Weed eaters and mowers damage the signs if contact is made with the sign.

Please do not attach anything to the sign, including balloons. When a balloon pops-the sun bakes the latex into the sign causing permanent damage. Please do not move and/or remove the yard sign as damage can occur. If you want the sign picked up early, please contact us and we will do so.

What happens if the stork sign gets damaged?

If you notice any damage on the sign please notify Sweet Storks and More immediately!! Our signs are durable, weather-resistant, and designed to last. However, the signs are not designed for climbing. We are not responsible or liable for any and all injuries involving the sign while on your property. Homeowner is responsible for keeping all lawn equipment away from the signs. The Howeowner will be responsible for replacing the damaged stork or any damaged parts at the purchase price to Sweet Storks and More.

What is your refund policy?

You will receive a full refund if any of the following apply:

-You cancel your stork sign rental at least 24-hours in advance.

-Personalization has not been started/completed on the bundles/stars/pet signs. 

Extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign.

Sweet Storks and More or its owners has an unforeseen emergency we cannot control and delivery cannot be carried out.

You will not receive a refund if any of the following apply:

-If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery.

-If  personalization has been started/completed for any bundles/stars/pet signs.

-We are unable to get into a gated community because we were not given a gate code or it doesn’t work.

-The security guard at a gated community refuses to allow us entry.  Please note: We stay very busy and we can’t wait at a gate for more than 10 minutes while the guard attempts to receive permission to grant access. It is important that you arrange with the guard to give us access prior to the time of delivery.

-The homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign or calls us to request that we pick up the sign prior to the end of the rental period.

-If a dog or other animal is threatening or refuses to allow us onto the property.

-If any information on the bundle is incorrect due to your error.

 

Do you charge a delivery fee? 

Delivery within 20 miles is a $20.00 delivery fee

Delivery between 21-30 miles is a $30.00 delivery fee

Delivery between 31-40  miles is a $50.00 delivery fee

Delivery between 41-50 miles is a $75.00 delivery fee

and 51 and over within reason is a $150.00 delivery fee

**If a Grandparent stork is to be delivered at the same time, there is an additional delivery fee.**

*Delivery fee includes delivery, set up, and pick up.*
